Modern Dance in De Oud Kerk

De Oud Kerk in the Kiefhoek neighbourhood opens its doors. This modernist structure by architect J.J.P. Oud which is almost 100 years old still looks very modern today. The building comes to life with a special, immersive dance performance: a y a t o r i. Created by artist Charlotte Puebla and performed by dancers Hinako Yukimoto and Annakha Flos, this performance tells a story of a meeting: between two people, between space and self, between you and others. In this way, you experience the cubist shapes and clear lines of the architecture from an unique perspective. During the performance, there is no stage, no fixed perspective—only a vivid, spatial experience that continuously shifts.
