Classics by Night: Kiefhoek & Modern Dance

Visit the modern, white-plastered residential area designed by Stijllid J.J.P. Oud: the Kiefhoek from 1925! The residential area was completely reconstructed in 1995, retaining the original layout and design, but adapting the interior to contemporary requirements. Only in the museum house you can experience the furnishings. During this special evening program, you’ll get a glimpse inside this highly efficient home and discover the first modernist church in the Netherlands with a dance performance.
The dance performance is created by artist Charlotte Puebla and performed by dancers Hinako Yukimoto and Annakha Flos, this performance tells a story of a meeting: between two people, between space and self, between you and others. In this way, you experience the cubist shapes and clear lines of the architecture unique perspective. During the performance, there is no stage, no fixed perspective—only a vivid, spatial experience that continuously shifts.
