How well do you know Rotterdam? Put your knowledge of the city to the test during a fun-filled evening of music, drinks and the best quiz of the year! The quiz takes place in the loft of the nhow hotel – OMA’s De Rotterdam – with stunning views over the city and the skyline.
In anticipation of the Day and Night of Architecture, this annual quiz poses funny, quirky, and often specific questions about the city, its buildings and future. Take on friends, colleagues, architects and the many other fans of Rotterdam to earn the title of Architecture Nerd of the year!
Developed together with architectural writer Paul Groenendijk, the quiz puts your knowledge of Rotterdam’s architecture and urban development to the test. Each round explores a different theme – from cultural history and unbuilt projects to today’s icons, high-rises and visual art. And of course, many of the buildings appearing in the quiz you can tour through on the Day and Night of Architecture 2026!
Hosted by quizmaster and proper Rotterdammer Ferrie Weeda, the quiz journeys through an eclectic mix of images, facts, stories and unexpected trivia. Like any good quiz, it’s about finding out new knowledge – but also about the thrill, and speed, of competition.
