Through the eyes of architects: Santos special

Over the past two years, Santos has been transformed from an old warehouse into the new location of the Nederlands Fotomuseum. The national monument on Katendrecht has been renovated by WDJArchitecten and Renner Hainke Wirth Zirn Architekten and is now being prepared for the opening in 2025. During the Day and Night of Architecture, the architects will give you an exclusive tour of the entire building. You visit the six floors (with a cast-iron column structure) and enter the new addition which is surrounded by a semi-transparent gold ‘crown’.

Unfortunately, Santos is not yet accessible for people with mobility problems, there are many stairs on the route.
