What We Build On: dilated mud walk and dinner event

The group exhibition What We Build On (May 24 – July 13) explores larger social and environmental materialities that deeply affect our lives as individuals and communities. By observing and responding to our surroundings, the works tackle in different ways issues of gentrification, erasure, and ecology. The exhibition consists of Scraps, trash, treasures, a site specific public intervention by the collective iovermorgen, Carnisse in flux: navigating change through performative speculation, a series of workshops and a happening by Omid Kheirabadi, and dilated mud a solo exhibition by Kari Robertson. As part of dilated mud, Soil Study Group hosts a walk and dinner event on June 15 through Carnisse. You can listen, observe, forage and clean the neighbourhood before going to an other world to cook and eat dinner together. The exhibition What We Build On can also be visited on the 15th of June.

The exhibition can be visited freely, an other world is open saturday 14:00-18:00. To book a spot for the dilated mud walk and dinner event email karilericher@gmail.com before June 10th.
