On Saturday, June 14, you can experience Rotterdam’s architecture from early morning until deep into the night with an inspiring program that follows the river from east to west. During the walking tour through Rijnhaven you will discover this changing area: from Floating Office, modern apartments to a vibrant city beach. In the Lloyd Quarter the diverse mix of architecture is discovered with multiple tours in the area. Explore converted buildings such as De Herder and Jobsveem, and get a glimpse inside the brand-new Lloyd Yard Docks, a collective housing project where residents co-designed their homes with architects. The entire afternoon, there are multiple tours through the housing projects, Lloyd Yard and SAWA .

After sunset, there’s still plenty to discover. In the Kiefhoek district, the Oud-Kerk opens its doors for a special modern dance performance. And in the M4H district, there is a spectacular performance in the Katoenhuis. End your evening in the Paradijskerk with a screening of Pina — Wim Wenders’ breathtaking film that takes you on a journey through powerful dance scenes set against the dramatic landscapes of Germany’s Ruhr region.
